Parents allow us to uncover the gifts and also the callings that God has for the lives. Parents help children and teens uncover their vocational interests and also the inspirational gifts. Parents identify the steps and assets which are essential to get the characteristics and skills that youngsters and teens possess.





Parents realize that children and teens get the vocational interests, capabilities, abilities, and skills inside a seed form. These seed products will build up into careers, jobs, tasks, projects, or ministries. Then, the talents and gifts will produce earnings, wages, and spiritual rewards because the children receive pleasure from knowing that they're fulfilling the callings that God has put on their lives.

While applying and performing our learning and career plans, parents, children, and teens translate vocational interests, capabilities, and abilities into work options. Parents, children, and teens do reality testing through meeting with current employees, job shadowing, part-time employment, full-time employment, and volunteer work. Parents, children, and teens obtain skill training, for instance, social abilities, resume writing, networking, and formulations for interviews.





Career Planning Assets





To be able to assess gifts, talents, and capabilities, parents, children, and teens need career assets. Career planning assets include books, videotapes, audio-tapes, games, training courses, self-assessment inventories, career exploration web-sites, and computer-aided career guidance programs. We're each significant, different, and special. Yet, God knows our gifts, talents, and capabilities. God has selected us for special positions and tasks. Our jobs should reflect the callings that God has put into our way of life. Our careers represent the gifts provided to us by God. Our destinies originate from God. Parents help children and teens uncover God-given talents, capabilities, and interests to ensure that children and teens can fulfill God's purpose for his or her lives.





As a parent, we'll use prayer, the term of God, other books, videotapes, audio-tapes, games, training courses, training materials, self-assessment inventories, career web-sites, computer-aided career guidance programs, and resource centers to help us in assisting our kids, and teens.
